CoNorth is a nonprofit with more than 20 years of experience helping resident-owned communities succeed, and we currently provide business advising support to 18 communities across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Our role is to make sure communities have the knowledge, tools, and guidance they need to stay financially strong, well-governed, and focused on residents’ long-term well-being. For home buyers, that means greater stability, informed decision-making, and confidence that your community is backed by experts who understand resident ownership and are committed to helping both communities and residents thrive—now and into the future.

CoNorth is a founding nonprofit partner organization of the ROC USA Network. As a ROC USA Certified Technical Assistance Provider (CTAP), CoNorth has helped residents of 18 manufactured home communities purchase their communities through the “Resident Owned Community” (ROC) model. Renville, MN
A new manufactured home community is being redeveloped in Renville, Minnesota, creating an exciting opportunity for future homeowners. This neighborhood is being stabilized and reinvested in to ensure it remains a safe, well-maintained, and affordable place to live for the long term.
The goal of this redevelopment is to preserve the community and prepare it for eventual resident ownership—meaning homes and the neighborhood are being improved with residents’ future needs in mind, not short-term profit. St. Peter, MN
CoNorth is partnering with the City of St. Peter, MN, to create a new, from the ground up resident-owned manufactured home community. We expect to move forward with this project in 2026. Learn more.
